"Modders are a blight on the community, however are actually needed"...not!!! some peeps I know dont even play RF anymore cuza the modrs...they have moved on to other games, Ive tryed to talkem back but they dont care bout our game no more!!!modrs just Phuk it all up..jump into a game and use ur name while modn..yes you've seen it too..its to the point where if ur doing good ur called a modr..lets kill'em all |

Mutant, you'll never get anywhere legally, Volition have given up with this game.
Every server admin,
Just do what has always been done, Ban the bastards. I ran a few servers a year or two back, and everytime one of these children joined the server and intended on causing disruption, they were banned, simple. The problem is, the people that have cruddy ISP's or cheap broadband connections won't have static IP's, and the banning procedure is going to be continual, or until these children get bored with ruining peoples games.
Also, you need to confirm by either obtaining the modification, or coaxing one of these children to join a version 1.3 server to see if it affects the "safe-house" servers.

if you guys had bothered reading the previous posts that is [NOT Cams ip, that is in fact mine,the person that informed you about all of this, i posted on E_Darkness website to have a chat with him and he took the IP as cams,

Note: That CC cam may not be the real modder he could have been using that guys name.
(CC)Cam is the real modder but that isnt his ip, he is on dialup connected via TSN and that is a cable ip thru Bigpond.
I have his ip but dont consider it appropriate to post it here, if anyone wants the ip for server banning purposes im me with the server name and ip and i will supply it |
if you im me I can give you cams ip but it is a waste of time, his isp is TSN who provides the (CC) servers and by strange coincedence (CC)Cableguy, co leader is the administrator for TSN so it is gonna do no good to complain about something to a guy that is in the same clan as nothing will come of it;
Fate in your post you are asking for proof, I have chat logs from Cam to me, I dont have chat logs from Bing as I dont speak with him anymore since he started modding and using foul language and nicknames in Rats server, because I kicked him so he blocked me, I only have Cams word and a screenshot taken by someone other than cam taken in Swift during the occurance, this was sent to me by Cam and he says it was taken by Bing.... |

man this is all a bunch of BS. I mean this is a game and is meant to be enjoyed by people but instead some people for some reason choose to disrupt our playing  . If they do not want to enjoy the game then they can easily just not play but no they have to wreck it for other gamers who do want to play it. RF was made moddable so enthusiastic people can create new types of gameplay or implement ideas that the creators had not thought of. If there was ever talk of RF dying then i must say modders must be centralised as the main culprits as the turn away players both new and old. This is all so very disappointing  |

Well said Seafood, my sentiments entirely, that is the only reason I posted in this thread to begin with, so that the guys modding and disrupting servers could be told with no uncertainty that we, as a community, do not intend to tolerate their actions. |

This is (CC) CableGuy.
to start with I f$#%ing hate modders and ban onsite.
Cam was using a mod we've all seen before called myth. He used this in conjunction with another mod he made, allowing him to place 50 remote mines with a single click.
A typical red faction server only has the ability to handle 50 projectiles at any one time. Cam used up all 50 projectile handles by placing 50 remote mines on the wall and then leaving the server in such a state where no further projectiles could be fired from weapons, thats why the flamer still worked.
He did not hack the THQ master server, the master server is not in real time communication with every red faction server in the world.
Remember when it was down recently, we were still able to join & kick anus by entering in the IP address and port of your fav server. That just blew that f#$%whit `Vidi44` theory out the window, not to mention that assembly code is very primitve and can only be used to manuiplate ram at certain IO addresses.... Well that and the fact that red faction is probably written in c, not assembly.

I've been too busy drinking piss to play lately, let alone find the time to remove his name off the clan website.
I can't beleive this forum went on for 5 pages about how much (CC) mod when (CC)'s server (owned by me) is one of more mod-free servers around.
When you mod on my server, i do a "show ip bgp" for your ip address and use iptables to DROP your entire ISP's IP address allocation.
(In noobs terms, get banned from (CC) NO MODS! and you'll need new ISP to re-connect.)
Currently there are in excess of 4 million ip addresses blocked.
Hope this clears things up.

(CC) website is outdated and i CBF to fix it.
(CC) dont tolerate modders.

ANYWAY..... I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE MOD THAT I MYSELF MADE. DO NOT BLAME CC OR MY ISP FOR MY ACTIONS BECAUSE IT IS CLEAR THAT THEY HAVE NO PART IN THIS EVENT. IF I REALLY WANTED TO STUFF U ALL UP I WOULD STILL BE USING THIS MOD, AND I WOULD BE DISTRIBUTING IT TO ALL WHO WANT IT. THIS WOULD MEAN THAT NOT A SINGLE RF GAME WOULD PASS WITHOUT A JAM.
This was a joke mod and lasted for 2 days. I will NOT CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE USE OF IT. The joke is OVER. I DID NOT hack any RF servers OR the THQ server. It was a small mod that allowed the use of the RF servers max amount of remotes. That simple.
Please to not blame CC or my ISP. There is no need to aviod them, ban them or ridicule them. CC are a great clan, with a great server. My ISP are the best ISP in this country. Neither should have to deal with the sh*t that u people are putting on them. |

OK Cam is to Blame ? . is he that smart?? well I dont think so! In fact I know so! Cam has always wanted to be the center of attention , hence why I wrote that song about him. (BTW CC Did U ask my permission to have it available for download?) LMFAO the song may be disturbing to some ppl , But Cam deserves every bit of it, Personaly I cant stand Cam , but that has FA to do with this issue, lets just play the game without Cam , actualy everyone BLOCK Cam and ban his dumb a$$ in any RF server seen.........  |
