Quoting KaneOfDoom | there already makin Max Payne 3 and thats Multiplayer... |
Max Payne will never have a multiplayer, just accept it, i woudnt even like it. Just some shooting at eachother in slow mo perhaps, well thats almost the same then the normal game. Believe me Max Payne will never have a multiplayer..
"Remedy quote: Max Payne has not a multiplayer mode because whe think we can create the perfect experiance only in singel player mode."
I personally totally agree with them |

There is a multiplayer mod for morrowind (orriginally single player), but it was crude. Max Payne would be significantly harder. Since the game has no networking capabilities whatsoever there'd have to be a 3rd party program that sends and recieves packets. This third party program would control "Bots" (The players) based on what other clients are doing. Technicly your not directly playing with others, but you are playing player controlled robots so to speak.
This would be very network intensive for anything more than 4 players. It's hard to pull off, but possible. |

Without the source code, ur guys can do CENSORED . Because Max Payne just isnt writted to Multiplayer. And if eventually a high trained proffessional did it, it would lag and all that CENSORED and get unplayable. What I expect from the future Max Payne? improved graphics, longer levels, New tutching origional story. Thats anything that matters, the rest they cant screw up (like music, the max payne theme does already excist)....we will see... |

Single player games are so rare... And being as good as MP is impossible.
Without sourcecode, no multiplayer: think of all the parameter for only one bullet: it's initial speed, direction penetration... all the bandwith wasted... the sourcecode is needed to make some optimizations regarding multiplayer, and it's not tomorrow that someone will obtain it from remedy... |
