I think you will have to get a new videocard.
A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Thank you, my dad and I looked into the problem and it was indeed our Video Card. (Its a nVidia 2/something, way old) So later today we're going to go and get a nVidia GeForce FX 5500 card (Next to best from what we could tell). Thanks for your help!

If money isn't a concern, get one of the 6000 series videocards. They are way better than the 5000 series

Yeah, we actually decided to get a 6200 OC, which strangely enough was the same price as the 5500 ($150), but was twice as good. But we still didn't feel like getting the 6800 because that one is a tad expensive, despite its massively good specs.
