So far it looks pretty good. 90% done so it may come somewhere this year. I cant wait for it. Yea i know this is old news but im just a guy who cant wait for this mod. The Guile model is fantastic. He's also my favorite Street Fighter character too. Post wat u think about this mod.  |

As long as it has plenty of new animations..... that's enough 4 me. 
I'd really like to play that mod. Let's just hope it doesn't get stuck in the middle of the way. |

Well last month the modder, Aztec said somewhere early August. I guess they might release it somewhere in september or october. Just keep checking the site and you'll see an update sooner or later. See? I should be a staff member for the max payne community here lol. |

Yeah the status of the mod is about 98% complete. Due to some unforseen work cropping up I didn't have time to finish it off before the beginning of August which I stated. Its nearly there but work comes first so all I can say i'm getting it done as soon as I can.... the wait shouldn't be long |

Well go to the link from the first post, it will explain everythng...i hope lol. Well basically, if u ever played the old street fighter games, its like that. Only difference.....its free-roaming now. Go anywhere from the rooftops to the ground to the buildings. Destructible environments....just check out the link and you'll also see pics from the gameplay and the chaaracter models. |

Yeah the mod is basically a recreation of the streetfighter games. 1-on-1 fights with rounds etc etc, most elements from the old 2d games are present (not all of them as MP2 is very limited modding wise) but I feel it stays pretty faithfull to the original games.
As mentioned before this is in complete 3d so you can go anywhere you wish within the level and your enemy will follow. There are other modes which are going to be available which will hopefully add more replayability,
Basic run-down is like this;
*Story mode (play as Ryu through a completely new and original story, fighting characters along the way)
*Tournement Mode (recreation of the original games, pick a fighter and choose to fight against, etc etc) This also includes the barrel breaking, wall smashing and car smashing bonus levels!
*Rage mode (Similar to final fight/Streets of Rage (hense the name!) where you choose a character and fight through a unique set of small levels to reach the boss which is one of the other main characters. I have cooked up something for this that I will think you will all enjoy so more info on this soon....
One last thing is that with all the content that is present in this TC the filesize is going to be pretty big. As a rough estimate I would say around the 400MB mark... |

The camera for the mod is going to be third person. But Aztec said that there are some dynamic camera changes like when u do a special or sumthing like that. I cant remember....but i do know that its not gonna have a side scrolling camera like the old school street fighters. Just go to that link in the first post, theres info for about everything for this mod. |
